CAST BALANCING REFERENCE (datum line) is the heel bisection. If you do not draw a heel bisection datum line we will use lab discretion. We prefer to use the practitioners heel bisection datum line.
BALANCE HEEL VERTICAL will produce intrinsic forefoot posting in the positive cast equal to the amount of forefoot to rearfoot deformity shown in the negative cast based on the heel bisection datum line.

CHECK BOXES allow the practitioner to order specific amounts of forefoot valgus or varus intrinsic or extrinsic posting. Fill in the blanks within the two available forefoot post instruction boxes and indicate whether the correction is to be valgus or varus. You must also indicate whether the correction is to be intrinsic or extrinsic.
MEDIAL ARCH FILL Normal is the lab standard when not specified.
PLANTAR FASCIA / PLANTAR PROMINANCE / MEDIAL HEEL SKIVE positive cast modifications must be ordered as per individual patient requirements.
