Orthosis Plate Selection

All of our polypropylene orthoses are manufactured with virgin extruded natural non-stress relieved (NSR) polypropylene. The NSR Blue Poly Sport Orthosis material is custom extruded especially for Precision Intricast, Inc. All poly orthoses are available in 2/16”, 5/32”, 3/16” and 4/16” inch thickness. The Blue Poly Sport (BPS) orthosis is normally 5mm wider at the forefoot and has a deeper heel cup than the White Poly Standard or Econoline. These modifications help eliminate orthosis migration in wider athletic type shoes. The BPS may be ordered with any combination of covering materials or accommodations. A white vinyl cover is standard. The White Poly Standard (WPS) orthosis may be ordered with any combination of covering materials or accommodations. A tan vinyl cover is standard. The White Poly Econoline (WPE) orthosis is not available with any covers or soft accommodations. The Ultra-Lite and Cork Mold accommodative orthoses are shank dependant and are available with any combination of covering materials and accommodations. A leather cover is standard.
